For the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, it’s a time to reflect on what went well, what could be improved upon, and a palpable, so-intense-it-almost-seems-tangible feeling of excitement for Shootout 38 in August of 2026.

With viewership and attendance from six continents and all fifty states for the second year in a row, we hope you heard just how loud we can roar.

In what feels like mere moments ago, the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout wrapped up another record-breaking year in August of 2024. The wild waves slowed to a calm, and the bedlam was finally put to rest (until now, of course). As always, the next Shootout loomed just beyond a distant, hazy horizon, full of sweet promises for matchless excitement, endless fun, and, of course, incredible fundraising.  

The first quarter of 2025 had no shortage of excitement as pertinent information and exciting news rolled in like tidal waves on all fronts.
