LEARN ABOUT OUR
CHARITY
The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout organization is driven by a simple but powerful vision: to be a unifying force that connects people, celebrates shared passions, and drives meaningful charitable impact year after year.

What began as the world’s largest unsanctioned boat race has evolved into a dynamic calendar of signature events that bring our community together—on the water and beyond. From high-energy races to family-friendly gatherings and volunteer-led initiatives, each event serves a larger purpose: raising funds and awareness for nonprofits and first responders who strengthen and protect our communities.

Fueled by the passion of our volunteers, participants, donors, sponsors, and retail customers, the Shootout proudly supports a diverse network of charitable organizations. These partners play vital roles across our region—in education, healthcare, life safety, and community vitality.
Together, we create connection. We celebrate the spirit of the Lake. And we generate meaningful impact that lasts long after the checkered flag drops.
